I inherited a large collection of Swedish genealogy that my grandfather collected in the 1930's.  It sat in storage for many decades then in 2016 I got curious about how that collection would line up with the online collection at familysearch.org.  After four months of fairly intense work I had all of the information in my grandfather's record completely update in familysearch.org.  That four months of working on the site gave me a deep respect for the work my grandfather did and the fantastic features of familysearch.org.  Those four months of hard work helped me learn how to use the site to improve and extend the family tree.  I continue to marvel at the evolving features of the site and am grateful for the tremendous resource that it is to those who have an interest in family history.
