Everyone deserves to be remembered. Currently the Burley FamilySearch Center is working with Cassia County Historical Society Musuem to digitize all of the photos, negatives, audios, videos, etc. that they have in their collections. Similarly we will partner with the Minidoka County Historical Society Museum in the future. Additionally, the center has some unique digitized collections and FamilySearch has collections specific in our area. For each of these projects we need volunteers to assist in identifying the people in these collections and attaching the sources or photos in FamilySearch. If you’d like to help with this project, this is the class for you. Come see what projects we are currently offering, and what things we hope to accomplish in the future. Ongoing training is also available at the center.
Tammy Stevenson
Tammy Stevenson I started family history as a teenager copying the papers of my grandma more than 40 years ago. Oh my how it has changed over my life time. I actively research my own family and love uploading memorabilia to ensure their whole lives are preserved, not just the dates and places. I want my grandchildren to know and love their ancestors. I have worked at the Burley FamilySearch Center for more than 10 years and love assisting others in their research and digitizing endeavors. I also enjoy teaching classes and loving learning news skills and tricks from others and as I prepare to teach new classes.
