Room B-5 • 9am

Do you know oral stories are forgotten in two or three generations if they are not recorded? This class will help you preserve those stories and your memories about your relatives. It will help you write a good memory in one paragraph. Options include written stories or audio recording. Please bring a photo or a memory in mind that you would like to write about, prior to coming to class.

Hi, I’m Marilyn Moncur. I live in the Paul Idaho Stake out in the Emerson area. I’m a retired elementary teacher who is excited to spend more time doing family history. I love the stories behind the person, so whenever I hear a story or read one, I’m excited to share it with family and friends. By telling the family story I somehow feel that my ancestors know and approve. I know that everybody has a story to tell, and I want to help tell those stories.
